Oxbow Farm is a family run farm and ranch in Glade Park, CO. The farm has over 30 laying hens that produce farm fresh eggs for our clients. The ranch has over 30 goats and counting that call the ranch home. At the present time we have a small herd of pasture raised hogs. With over 35 acres the sky is the limit for what we can do here with our ranch. Rest assured that our philosophy of sustainable agriculture has not changed. Charles Crawford - Charles grew up in the Tar-heel state. For the better part of 30 years he was a competitive and professional figure skater. He retired in 2007 from skating and teaching to start what has become Oxbow Farm. Charles' role at the ranch he describes as lead critter wrangler and chaos coordinator. The ranch has over 100 animals and he runs the day to day operations and manages the growing heard of yaks, pigs, sheep and handles the bulk of the training of the donkey's and mustangs. Most of the time he can be found working with the ranches equines, or working on the ranches many fence lines which at times is a never ending task.
Elizabeth Crawford - Elizabeth grew up in Southern Michigan and enlisted in the US Army after graduating from U of M with a degree in nursing. Currently she works as a nurse practitioner and is in charge of the ranches growing goat herd and is in charge of creating Oxbow Farm's line of Goatsmilk products and trying her best to keep Charles reined in. She also does a majority of the hand made items you see at craft shows and events around the valley. She also helps in training of the equines when time and schedule permits.
